Still a bit on the primitive side, with essentially the same gear roster as “Some Summers”… the bulk of this was recorded at Stress Palace, but I was still honing my production chops, and things were starting to look up – music-wise.

Songwriting-wise, I was going through a rather turbulent period. There is much “back-story” here that I won’t share… mostly having to do with a tall, leggy blonde - but suffice to say it was an interesting time in my life.

We look for that “little something” that we can use to clutch onto as proof that what we’ve done has some small merit. In the case of this album, it was my psychologist – who, upon hearing it, commented that “there was nothing more she could do for me”. Somewhere during the course of writing “Drowning Your Sorrows”, followed by “Autonomy”, I realized that I *could* let go. The actual process of Letting Go took several more years… but here I am.

To be honest, I’m a bit leery of posting the whole song list here, but I’m going to do it anyway, in the hopes that somebody out there will enjoy at least one of the songs, and write back to let me know about it.
