Right. The purpose of this page is to terrify
you. If you’re too scared, you can click on the button and go Home.
Okay, then: here's how this works:
All of these photographs are Copyrighted by myself, across several years. Yes, I have the actual Copyright declarations from the Library of Congress (my mother-in-law worked there at the Copyright Office; I know how to do it iron-clad.)
These are my “Rules of Engagement” to avoid those pesky Legal issues:

1. These photos are
offered here for your pleasure in viewing, and for use in your own creative
work as you see fit – including:
a. Your website
b. Your CD Cover or labels
c. Your personalized greeting cards
d. etc. etc.
2. …as long as you’re not using them to make money in any way.
3. . If you’re using them to make money, please contact me first, and we’ll work out an amicable deal. I am not a greedy man. I really don't much care. God gave me the ability to load film, compose a photo, and buy the gear necessary to do so. I'm satisfied with that, and after all, and what good is Talent if you can't share the joys it brings?
4. You may use any
of my original material as samples in your own work, as long as:
a. You send me a copy of the work in progress
b. Another of the finished product (with all packaging, and with a notation
of my name as a source) when you’re done… for my portfolio.
IMPORTANT NOTE and CAVEAT - this means, if you create
a CD and use one of my photos, I get a copy of the entire CD package. I hear
lots of good new music this way!
c. You’re not making money from their use. If you make money, contact
me, and let's figure out a way to make more... as long as we're not infringing
on anyone else's rights. Anyone using these images in
the case of a CD pressing... by "making money", I mean you exceed
10,000 units in sales (or pressing). Under that, I'm cool with a copy of your
CD.
5. You are welcome to share these files with any user of a peer-to-peer system such as Morpheus, SoulSeek, etc… and with your friends, as long as you impart to them that they abide by these rules.
6. I am the creator of the photographs themselves. They are mine, and remain mine.
7. I would really, really enjoy your feedback regarding whether or not you like the stuff. Just don’t be a Flaming Grode.

Let’s translate all this into more practical terms: you can use my photographs pretty much any way you want, as long as you’re not making money from it. You can swap this stuff with friends or strangers. You can print it in your own work or band fliers, project it, air it, mangle it up inside your own stuff, as long as I get a copy of what you're doing. You cannot run to a publisher and claim the images are yours… ‘cause they’re not. Simple enough, huh?
Really, the more you look at it, the more you'll realize it's a pretty sweet deal.
